What is it?
Solar Twin Coil Cylinders are fitted as standard in most solar installations. They have two coils fitted, one for a conventional boiler (on top), and a second high performance coil for solar use on the bottom. It is important to note with solar tanks that due to the location of the boiler coil full capacity of the tank is only available with solar panels connected. The field 'dedicated solar volume' in the table below indicated how much volume would be lost from the tank if heating with boiler only. Please ensure that this value would be sufficient for the end application.

Gledhill Stainless Lite cylinders are unvented or pressurised cylinders and must be fitted by appropriately qualified personnel. All our unvented cylinders are supplied with the following parts as standard:
