More Energy Output than a Flat Panel Collector
Consol Solar Panels use high efficiency heat pipes. These use a vacuum tube to maximise the energy extracted during daylight hour. Solar Panels do not need direct sunlight to operate and will generate hot water even on cloudy days.

Easy to Install and Maintain
Consol solar collectors have been designed so they are easy to fit and install and are suitable for most types of roof. Unlike other cheaper collectors, the brackets are fully adjustable and are pre-painted. They will be supplied in kit form together with a roof mounting kit and can be assembled by any competent DIYer. A simple visual check can ascertain if all tubes are operating correctly, and tubes can be replaced quickly without removing the panel from the roof.

Roof Orientation
Ideally you require a shade free South facing roof, but even an East or West facing roof with a 35 degree pitch can achieve efficiencies of 80%.

Household Water Consumption
A typical family consumes between 50-100L of water daily. 50L would be considered moderate usage, typical consisting of a short shower a day and a single load of a dishwasher whereas 100L would be used by family members taking long showers or a bath and dishwasher/washing machine use every day.
