The Mistral /GT package has been designed for users who wish to generate mains electricity to supplement power from your current provider. Packages include a Mistral turbine, a choice of tower, control unit and grid-tie inverter (optimised for use with the Mistral). The Mistral is currently the middle turbine in the Samrey product family with a rotor diameter of 2m and a maximum power output of over 1 kW.   The Mistral conforms to Samrey's design philosophy of which excellent performance at low wind speeds is key. The turbine produces high voltage 3 phase AC output to minimise transmission losses that go via a Control Unit to an optimised grid-tie inverter. The turbine can be mounted on either a 10m Guyed or Free-standing tower.
