The Ecoteck Pisa is a stylish wood pellet stove with integrated back boiler. With a massive 20kW output, the Pisa is capable of heating larger properties beyond the reach of most pellet stoves. Ecoteck have also integrated a patented grate and heat exchanger cleaning system into the stove, reducing cleaning to a minimum of 5 minutes a day. The Pisa also comes with the added option of a heat exchange system, dispensing with the need for an additional hot water tank.

Heating with wood pellets
Wood pellets are one of the few truly environmentally friendly ways to heat. Easier to handle than traditional stoves, wood pellet boilers can be retrofitted to most UK central heating systems without modification. Pellets are normally delivered in bulk on a pallet. A typical household will utilise between 1-3 tonne's of pellets a year with bagged pellets varying in cost. All wood pellet boilers are classed as solid fuel burners and as such will require a part J compliant Class 1 flue or liner. They will also require an electrical connection.

Cleaning
The Pisa comes with an patented automatic grate cleaning system. The grate will still need to be cleaned but this is normally a 5 minute task. Soot automatically falls into a soot tray which will have to be cleaned once a week in normal use.
