EcoEnergy buffer tanks are general purpose water cylinders that can be used for many different heating applications. Typically used in Biomass installations buffer tanks work well with wood boilers and wood pellet applications. Buffer tanks act as an energy store, storing energy until it is required. Typically with wood burning applications a minimum of 30ltrs water is required per kW output of the boiler. Buffer tanks also work well to prevent boilers cycling (starting and stopping too frequently making them inefficient).

The tanks come with a variety of connections for added flexibility and can be fitted with high performance coils for the provision of hot water or integration with other heat sources.
